Summary

Only four members of Committee present. No quorum.
Agreements with Stroud Sanitary Laundry Co. and Messrs Ward & Son Ltd completed.
Stroud Urban District Council to make no contribution to construction of new bridge at Downfield (Gas House Lane).
Mr Pearce of Wallbridge granted permission to let some ducks out on canal at Wallbridge but not to fix small door in entrance gates at Wallbridge.
Chimney in lock house at Dudbridge repaired. Two chimney pots fixed.
Census of production form received from Ministry of Board of Trade.
Bridge at Shallow Lock needs one of outside beams strengthened.
Chairman had endeavoured to obtain coal traffic to Lodgemore or Fromhall Mills. Messrs Strachan ordered two large loads for Lodgemore Mills to put into stock.

Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 17^th day of June 1931 @ 4 o'clock pm
Present: W R Bloxam,. R J C Little, Jack Margetson, J R Morton Ball.
Only four members of the Committee being present there was no quorum, but there being some matters requiring immediate attention, it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Meeting.
It was reported that the Agreements entered into with the Stroud Sanitary Laundry Coy, and Messrs Ward & Son Ltd, respectively, had been completed.
Bridge at Downfield (Gas House Lane)
A letter from the Stroud U C Council was read in which it was stated that the Council are not prepared to contribute towards the construction of a new bridge.
M^r Pearce of Wallbridge was granted permission to let some ducks out on the Canal at Wallbridge, his application for permission to fix a small door in the entrance gates at Wallbridge was not agreed to.
Lock-house at Dudbridge
It was reported that the Chimney of the Lock-house had been repaired & two new Chimney pots fixed.
Canals, Docks & Harbours
A Census of Production form had been received from the Ministry of The Board of Trade. The Clerk was directed to apply to Mr Dudbridge for any necessary information.
Bridge at Shallow Lock
The Clerk reported that one of the outside beams had recently been strengthened.
Canal Traffic
The Chairman mentioned that he had endeavoured to obtain Coal traffic tot he Lodgemore & Fromhall Mills. Messrs Strachan had ordered two barge loads for Lodgemore Mills to put into stock.
It was Ordered that the next Meeting be held on the 22^nd July 1931 @ 4 o'clock pm and the General Half Yearly Meeting @ 4.30 o'clock pm on same day.
