[1935] Committee Meeting held at Wallbridge on Wednesday the 20^th day of March 1935
Present: W R Bloxam, R J C Little, Henry R Hooper, Stanley Marling.
Only four Members of the Committee being present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Stroud Urban District Council: Widening at Wallbridge
In accordance with Minute of last Meeting the Chairman had settled a letter which the Clerk had sent to the Surveyor of the Stroud Urban District Council stating that the Committee considered that the price suggested (£50..-) would form such a small proportion of the total cost of the widening that they ought not to be asked to accept anything lower than £50..-.
Unclaimed Dividends
The Chairman was authorized to draw a Cheque on the Dividend A/c for £11..- and to pay same to the credit of the Company's current A/c at Lloyd's Bank Ltd at Stroud.
Messrs Strachan & C^o Agreement
This matter was left to the Chairman.
Stonehouse Wharf Premises
The Clerk reported that Messrs Ward & Son had vacated the premises, and after discussion it was decided to erect a notice Board that the premises were for sale. The Clerk was instructed accordingly.
Saul Bridge
A letter was reported from the Clerk of the Wheatenhurst Rural District Council stating that he had been instructed to inform the Company that his Council are of the opinion that the bridge is unsafe and asking that the matter should be given attention and requested that the Council may be informed of hte measures take to make the bridge safe. The Chairman undertook to settle a letter for the Clerk to sent to the Clerk of the Wheatenhurst Rural District Council.
Road and Rail Traffic Act 1933
A letter was read from the Clerk of the County Council stating that as desired by the Ministry of Transport he enclosed for the Company's information a copy of the revised priority list of weak bridges, with which the Minister had expressed himself in general agreement.
Ministry of Health: Inland Water Survey for Great Britain
The Clerk was instructed to complete the form sent as far ad it concerned this Navigation.

Ryeford Saw Mills C^o Towing Path next their Yard at Ryeford
The Chairman reported that the Ryeford Saw Mills Company had been informed that in view of the facts mentioned in the Company's letters of the 12^th April and 17^th May 1934 this Company cannot accept any responsibility for the leakage of water through the bank which was altered by their (The Ryeford Saw Mills Company) predecessors in title.
