Our lock-keeper reports that Mr D Taylor of Whitminster has been summoned by a bailiff of your Board for angling in the canal without having first obtained your Board's licence. He has the Company's licence. Referring to my previous letter, could not such prosecutions be held in abeyance until after the proposed lease has been signed Does your board's jurisdiction extend to the T&S Canal from Stroud and if so, how far? as our anglers at present are ignorant of your requirement.
