Please take notice that you are as soon as you can [to] leave the cottage lately occupied by your father Alfred Bassett who is not now a servant of this Company and his tenancy of the same ceased on Saturday last on which day he was paid off. Get out at once as I am wanting to put another man in his place as soon as I possibly can. You must not receive any monies or do anything on behalf of this company.
