Re phone call about new gates for Bristol Road Lock which we hope to have it ready in 2-3 weeks. Will need to lower pound to fit them

Dear Sir,
Further to our communication over the phone re gates at Bristol Road arrangements are in hand for a new pair which we hope to have ready for (?fixing) in about 2 to 3 weeks.
To enable us to carry out the work on the lock water levels in the pound below will have to be lowered, as is usual.
