Dear Sir,
Further to my phone of today re the gates at Bristol Road which I understand were destroyed by a Motor boat running into them last Thursday morning. The boat Trial was working up the lock at the time and was nearly ready to go into the pound above when the Motor Boat ran into the bottom gates.
I mentioned your name to my Committee as an independent Engineer & they will be glad to receive your report.
The Committee meet on Wednesday next.
I am, dear Sir
