Summary

I expect you have now arranged matters at weirs and cut trench at Coffin Weir. Suggest you lower water in Westfield Pound, using water from levels above when mud boats with the gates need to come through

Sir
The Dock C^o are putting in the "Dam" which will be completed this week, that being so all water will have to be at once stopped running through the Bristol Road Lock.
I expect by now you have arranged matter at the various weirs as directed and cut the trench at Coffin Weir.
An effective way of dealing with the water would be to lower the level of water in the Westfield Pound & if any water is required to pass the mud flat with the gates you could divert from the pounds above.
I hope to se you in the morning.
Yours truly
P G Snape
