Dear Sirs,
I have had a look at the two oak balance poles at Bristol Road Lock & I find that they are not of good quality of which I understand you are aware and that you intend to allow a reduction in your price for the same.
My Committee inspected them today & they instructed me to write you and to point out that they certainly will look for a substantial reduction as here is a large quantity of sap in the poles.
