The Committee has considered your letter: the canal is navigable as far as Stroud. They are willing to allow your to moor your boat in the canal at any point approved by the surveyor upon payment of 6d per week and the usual tolls and provided that no interference with the traffic in the canal is caused and that your speed does not exceed 3 miles per hour.
