Mem^d March 20^th 1776, It was then agreed by Edward Hinton to make the Clay Dug out of the Canal lying on the Lands belonging to Rich^d Owen Cambridge Esq^r and belonging to the Company of the Stroudwater Navigation into Brick, at and after the rate of Six shilling per Thousan to be told out of the Kiln well burnt and fit for use, but not to be answerable for any Damage to be done by Floods, the Company to find Coal and other necessarys for making the Brick and to pay for one Man telling the Brick from the said Kiln as Wittness my Hand
