March 27^th 1776
Mem, That it is agreed between Ben: Grazebrook Clerk of the Committee of y^e Stoud Navigation & Joseph Morris of Bewdley Worcestershire. That the s^d Jos Moris immediately proceed to turn the Clay and lomb now thrown out for the purpose of making Bricks for y^e s^d Company between Framiload & Wheatenhurst & then go on making good sufficient Bricks after y^e mould already used for them, well Burned, moulded in Sand, & produced entiresly to y^s satisfaction of the Surveyor at the rate of Six Shillings per thousand, out of the Clamp ready for use. And it is further agreed by y^e parties afores^d That the said Morris shall will & truly temper, mould, make & Burn in Clamps of not less than fifty Thousand on or before y^e 24^th day of June 1776. The whole to be done & told out by him, in presence of, & to the satisfaction of the appointed Surveyor or Agent to the s^d Company as witness their hands.
