To y^e Gentlemen Proprietors, of y^e Navigable River from Framiloe to Stroud.
Viz Labour only:
To build walls fac,d with Brick at 18^d per Perch, the Brick work to be Reduced to 14 Inches thick.
Stone walls to be Meay,d According to y^e Statue of England - 16^feet - 6^In Long to y^e Perch 1 foot High & 18^in Thick.
At y^e Same price as y^e Brick work before Mentioned If my Proposals meet with your Aprobation Please to direct for me, To be left at y^e Sign of y^e Scotchmand Pack, on St Mich^ls Hill, Bristol May y^e 7th 1776.
I am Gentlemen your Humble Servant at Command Daniel Harrison.
NB Stone that Required to be work,d About y^e Gates, etc, as fac,d work - 6^d per foot.
