Building a lock

to the Gentlemen Proprietors of the Stroud Navigation.
this is an Explanation of the Calculation of the stone work and the Brick work to be according to the Plan.
The Hollow Quines to be 4=6 by 3=6 in the Bed and 14 feet Eigh at the Lower Gates witch is in Cubebical measure: 4 2 8,
The Hollow Quines at the uper gates to be 4=6 by 3=6 in Bed witch is in Solled measure 8 feet Eigh: 1 8 9,
The Squar Quines at the Lower gates to be 9=6 by 2=6 in bed and 14 fett Eigh witch is in solled measue: 2 4 6.
The Squar Quines at the uper gates to be 9=6 by 2=6 in bed and Six feet Eigh witch is in solled mesure: 1 0 5.
The Coping in Lenth is 134 feet and 3 feet wide and 3^I thick on each side of the Lock witch is in all 268 feet in lenth and in solled mesure: 8 9 4,
the flagon for the Hollow Trunks to be from 4^I thick to 6^I thick with Solled mesure come to: 1 0 2.
the Solled Content of the Stone in the forth Lock is 1 8 7 4 to draw it in a workman Like manner.
The Countter arch at the head of the Lock to be 1 feet thick and in a mediam 4 feet wide and 20 feet Long with is in Solled mesure: 80
