Gentlemen
We Propose to work the Masonry of the Lock in the following prices (viz)
The Hollow Parts at one Shilling per Foot Superficial measure.
The Sill at Eight pence halfpenny per Root Superficial measure.
The recess Quoins at Eight pence half penny per Foot superficial measure.
The Coapings & trunking at seven pence per Foot Superficial Measure.

NB No Difference to be made in the above prices betwixt Forest Stone & Hampton Common.
If the above prices be not accepted we propose to work for Eighteen Shillings per Week (no deduction for bad Weather) & to be allowed reasonable Expences for going down.
