A Proposal for Compleating the Cutting &c from Chippenham Splat to Wallbridge.
For Cutting every Yard Cube: Three pence half Farthing.
For Puddling every Yard Cube: Sixpence.
For Cutting puddle Gutters every Yard: Twopence.
To Rampering every Yard Superficial: One Penny.
For Stocking up Trees all above Six Inches Girth: One Shilling Each.
For Stocking up Hedges for every Yard: Three Pence.
For Backing to the Bridges except punning & Gravelling: Seven pounds each.
To be allowed five pounds (Extra) for getting out each Lock pitt.
To Compleat and finish the Banks and Gravell the Towing path (where there shall be Gravell found) and Execute the whole of the above in a good workmanlike manner, finding Barrows planks and every necessary Utensill for Compleating the Same by me Robert Penney.
