There being only two Members of the Committee present there was no quorum but there being some matters requiring immediate attention it was decided to proceed with them subject to confirmation by the next Committee.
Stroud Metal C^oy Water Supply Rent £30 per year
The Clerk reported that the Metal Company had paid the first quarters rent of £7.10s 0d.
Framilode Bridge - M^r Perry
The Clerk reported that owing to M^r Perry's absence, on holiday, he had been unable to see him, he had seen his assistant at the Docks Office and he had promised to go into the matter and communicate with the Company later.
Tree across the Canal at Ryeford - M^r Pearce
The Clerk reported that he been in touch with M^r Pearce per telephone, he had promised his attention, nothing had been done. The Clerk was instructed to see M^r Pearce personally.
Various other matters were discussed such as the August Meeting, Office fuel and other matters neither of which required any special Minute.
