Ministry of Transport London re Trunk Roads Act 1946. Letter from Ministry read stating that an Inspector would call on 2 May.
Dudbridge Wharf, Sale, Mr Wiggall. Sale completed, proceeds would be paid to Company.
Newtown Lock. Baffle at Top gates. Mr Flowers had difficulty obtaining steel and would submit a firm price later.
Wallbridge Warehouse, Sanitary Accommodation, Mr Hopson tenant. No letter received from him yet.
Dudbridge Lock cottages, Mr Gibbons. Offer of £300 for two cottages. One occupied by Lockkeeper Wiggall could not be sold. Clerk to inform Mr Gibbons.
Long Row at Framilode, Mr Bourne. Mr Bourne had put a pipe from a stove through the wall of his house next the Towing Path in the “Long Row” at Framilode. Informed that towing path is private property of Company. Permission should have been obtained. No right of entry on to private towing path of company for any purpose. No reply.
