Stroudwater Navigation, Abandonment. Representatives of River Severn Board had met Chairman. Board would require aqueduct at Whitminster to be removed so that River Frome could flow openly across bed of canal. Board would be willing to carry out work at expense of Navigation.
Newtown Lock. Baffle. Difficulty in obtaining necessary steel. Mr Flowers considering reinforced concrete finish.
Wallbridge Basin. Sale. Doran Instrument Co. Stand over.
Ocean Bridge. Stonehouse Court Estate. Mrs Winterbotham. Letter from agent, Jackson Stops, Cirencester re state of the Ocean bridge. Formal complaint to be made to Drainage Board. Their contractors mainly responsible for present condition. Request to make good all damage. Immediate repairs now necessary. Clerk to have them carried out.
