Samuel Bird's Thames boat dimensions to be a rule: Extreme length 87 ft, Breadth at top 12 ft 3 in instead of 12 ft 4 in, Breadth at bottom 11 ft 10 in instead of 12 ft, Half breadth to spare the bridges 5 ft only, Rudder length 11 ft to be broken half way.
