Summary

Memorial from Stroudwater Navigation alleging portions of Canal so much out of repair as to be practically useless, to injury of traders and detrimental to interests of Stroudwater Navigation.
Receipts from Canal traffic insufficient to meet current expenses. Steam engine at Thames Head had broken down. Cost of repairs £60. Must be done to make it saleable. If not done, Navigation must cease during period of short water.
Meeting adjourned until 23 October.
