Arrangement with Mr Hall, acting for Lord Bathurst, to purchase rest of paddock adjoining Wharf at Cirencester for £30 (27 perches), £178 per acre. Compare local prices at £400 - £800 per acre.
Results of experiments in the boiler house at Thames Head. Letter from Mr Wickstead confirming Mr Denyer’s information to Committee re boilers of the East London Water Works at Bow. Mr Palmer procuring ashes to try the effect at Thames Head.
Letter from Mr Jones re experiments in the Engine House. Same results as stated by Mr Denyer.
