Some time since Mr John Lane of Goldsmith’s Hall ordered quantity of prepared Cloth for covering boat together with some floor Cloth. Much needed. Obliged to know when ready. Was to have been forwarded from Hambro Wharf by Miller’s boat if not ready in week must come by Tanner’s wagon from Grub Street. … The boat is actually spoiling for want of it.
