T&S Canal Company do not give credit for tonnage on coal, but to accommodate some of the traders, by preventing their entrusting money in hands of bargemen, allow their boats to pass on receipt of occasional payments of cash & finally settling account every quarter. Only applies to coal exported from this place (Brimscombe).
