Brookings boat left yesterday with soft coal on board. A barge just arrived with coal loaded by Davis which understand from the men is from a new vein its appearance more favourable than the soft.
Probable in a few days able to freight a boat or two for you. Say whether you wish me to do so & where coal to be landed.
