Gentlemen
We the undersigned being the Committee for a Friendly Benefit Society Established at Framilode composed chiefly of Watermen our object is economy. Therefore we do not hold our meetings at a Public House at present we have no place to hold our meetings - the upper Floor of your Warehouse at Framilode would by riseing the Roof about 5 Feet make a very convenient room for the purpose should you be willing to let it the Society will be at the Expence of Rising the Roof with your allowing what New Timbers may be wanted and also some alloance for the Repairs that now wants to be done to the Roof and Wall of the Warehouse should you feel inclined to comply with the wishes of the Society you will very much Oblige
