Stating terms for position as foreman of canal works and inviting an application.

Situation of Foreman
The above was brought before the Committee yesterday when it was arranged to have a man who understands Canal Works who can superintend at Stoppages, and have under his charges the Masons & Carpenters work & to be able to direct the same, take time, make sheets out and keep the stores at our yard, The wages will be 25/- per week, with a good house & garden, and a piece of Land.
There is also .... in the house. If you are willing to come under these terms I should be glad of your application which I will bring before the next meeting.
