Summary

Robert Perry apologises for his irregular behaviour. On promising to behave better, he is allowed to continue working.
Richard Bigland paid for his work on the company Seal, which cost £20 16s. Seal to be kept at the house of Benjamin Grazebrook.
Benjamin Grazebrook and Mr Pashley to inspect oak timber of John Wall of Cam.
Mr Grazebrook to enquire where a waggon and horses could be kept, and what a waggon with 6in wheels can be purchased for.
Clerk to make account of all land belonging to company, specifying what is let and what is unlet.
Samuel and John Webb have agreed to sell two pieces of meadow land at Wallbridge.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thrusday the 9^th day of January 1777
Present: Joseph Wathen, Durley Wintle, Thomas Baylis, Richard Bigland, Robert Ellis, Benjamin Grazebrook, John Hollings.
Read the Minutes of the Last Meeting.
No answer from M^r Hn^o Edmunds with Regard to his Timber.
M^r John Pashleys Account of the Tonnage produced.
Ordered that Robert Perry on his having made Submission for his irregular behaviour, and promise to behave better, be continued in the work.
M^r Grazebrook Reported that he has given orders to have the House for the use of our Clerk at the Bristol Road Built of brick.
M^r Richard Bigland produced Bills for the Seal and engraving the same with the appurtenances belonging, amounting to the Sum of Twenty pounds Sixteen Shillings.
Ordered that the said Bill be paid.
Ordered that M^r B. Grazebrook do keep the seal in some proper place in his House.
M^r B. Grazebrook Reported that he had agreed with M^r Jn^o Wall of Cam for a Quantity of ~~~ Oak Timber such as shall be approved of delivered at the work at 21^d per foot.
Ordered that M^r B. Grazebrook and M^r Pashley do go and Look out such Timber of the said M^r John Wall ~~ and to take an account of the Measure of it.
Griffith Cooper delivered his proposal for burning Lime to find Coal, Wood and every necessary Article except Stone at 3^d per Bushell and to build the Kilns included ~~~ posponed the Consideration of this proposal to a future meeting.
Received M^r Baylis's Account for Halling Stone in the Forest amounting to the Sum of £72. ~~~ Ordered the same to be paid.
Ordered that M^r B. Grazebrook do make inquiry where a Waggon and Horses may be kept for the use of the Company ~~~ and also what a good Waggon with Six Inch Wheels may be purchased for.
Ordered that Samuel Smith be given Notice to Attend the Committee as Often as the Accounts are examined, of which he be informed by M^r Grazebrook of the time.
Ordered that an Account be taken by our Clerk of all the Land belonging to the Company Specifying what are Lett, and what remains unlett.
Ordered that a Call of Ten per Cent be advertised in the next Glocester Journal.
Ordered that a Bill be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of four Hundred Pounds.
M^r B: Grazebrook Reported that he had Contracted with M^r Samuel Webb on behalf of himself and his Father M^r Jn^o Webb for two Closes or pieces of Meadow Land lying near Walbridge in the parish of Painswick, and executed an Article for that purpose, and paid One Hundred pounds in part of the purchase money.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 23^d Instant at four of the Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
