Tonnage since 1st April amounting to £177 19s 3d to be applied towards carrying out the works.
Commissioners appointed by Act of Parliament to be asked to meet at the Golden Cross at Cainscross on 1st November.
A sum of money not exceeding £10,000 should be raised by additional subscription among commissioners for completion of Navigation.
At a General Meeting of the Proprietors of the Stroudwater Navigation (appointed by Act of Parliament) held this 2^nd Day of October 1777 at the George Inn in the Town of Stroud.

The Minutes of the last Meeting were Read and Confirmed.
The Several Books and Accounts were produced respecting the affairs of the Company (as directed by the Act of Parliament) and examined and Confirmed. ~~~ The General State of the Works was also laid before the Proprietors.
Ordered that the Money Received for Tonnage from the 1^st April to this day ammounting to One hundred and Seventy Seven Pounds Nineteen Pound & three pence, be paid into the Treasurers Hands, and apply'd towards carrying on the Works.
We do hereby request the Commissioners nominated and appointed in and by the Act of Parliament passed in the Sixteenth Year of his present Majesty Reign intitled "An Act to amend an Act, passed in the Third Year of his Late Majestys Reign intitled an Act for making Navigable the River Stroudwater in the County of Gloucester from the River Severn at or near Framiload to Walbridge near the Town of Stroud in the Same County, and for giving other powers for the purpose of making a Navigation from Framiload to Walbridge aforesaid" will Meet at the Golden Cross at Cainscross ~~ on the Sixthe Day of November ~~ next at the hour of Ten in the forenoon ~~ in Order to put in execution the powers and Authorities Vested in them by Virtue of the said Act. And We do hereby order and direct our Clerk to insert a Notice of such intended Meeting at leat Ten days before the same shall be held in the Glocester Journal, and procure such Journal to be filed among the Proceedings of the said Company together with a Duplicate or Copy of this Order.
It is also resolved and agreed by the Proprietors then present that a Sum of Money not exceeding the Sum of Ten Thousand Pounds Should be raised by an Additional Subscription amongst themselves for the purpose of Compleating the said Navigation, And an Article for that purpose was agreed to and Signed accordingly.
