Summary

Thomas Davis of Frampton to provide 50,000 bricks at 11s 6d per 1000, and 100,000 at 11s per 1000.
No more Shropshire stone as we have offer of a full supply from Hanham.
Clerk to call on John Organ and ask if he will undertake the charge of Framilode Lock and the tonnage account.
Mr Gleave to secure the guard walls of the bridges.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 11th day of December 1777
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas Baylis, William Knight, Freame Arundell, Robert Ellis, Durley Wintle, John Hollings, Thomas White, Benjamin Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
M^r Ellis Reported that M^r Winchcombe and himself had waited on Henry Stephens Esq^r and had settled Sundry Articles with him, and paid him the further sum of One Hundred pounds in part of the purchase of his Land, the receipt of which is inserted upon the article.
The Articles no Yet Rec'd from M^r Aldridge, nor Miss Browns Assent to the alteration of the Line.
Ordered that Mess^rs Winchcombe & Grazebrook be desired to Settle with M^rs White the Rent of the Lands Occupied by the Canal & Banks, etc, the first Opportunity.
M^r Reddalls Account not Settled, he being from home.
Ordered that Mess^rs Ellis, Hollings & Grazebrook be desired to meet M^r Dymock and finally Settle the Taxes with M^r Andrews, and M^r Pettat. And that M^r Grazebrook do examine particularly that the proposed Cutt is within the Line.
M^r Bough has agree'd with M^r Tho^s Davis of Frampton for 50000 Bricks at 11/6 per Thousand, and for 100,000 more @ 11^s/ per Thousand to be sound good Bricks to be taled at the Canal.
M^r Wathen has Obtained a power of M^rs James for the Company to enter upon her Land.
Ordered that M^r Barnard do bring in his Account of the Bricks he has made for the Company.
Ordered that no more Stone be brought from Shropshire, as we have an offer of a full supply from Hanham.
M^r Hawker not being at home, the Lands of the late M^r Cook are not yet entered upon. Ordered that our Clerk do waite on him and M^r Cook as soon as possible, and pay them in part of the purchase of the Land.
Ordered that our Clerk do waite on Edmund Phillips Esq^r at Gloucester, and pay him for his Land and Timber.
Ordered that our Clerk do call on M^r Jn^o Organ to inquire of him if he will undertake the Charge of the Framiload Lock, and also to take an account of the Tonnage.
Ordered that M^r John Pashleys Bill be discharged, upon his giving a Receipt in full to the time he was discharged.
Ordered that M^r Gleaves do secure the Guard Walls of the Bridges before the next Meeting.
Adjourned this meeting to Thursday the 18^th Instant at f o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
