Ordered John Gleave to make a drain across the turnpike road near Eastington to convey water from Stonehouse level to Chippenham Platt. Also to make a reaching between the Ryeford level and the Stonehouse level.
Mr Frewin to attend wholly to the building of the locks and the bridges and see that the mortar be well made – his whole time and constant attendance upon the work is expected.
The quoins at Court Orchard Lock and the remaining coping stones on Framilode Lock to be set and finished with lime.
No level be settled until Benjamin Grazebrook and John Gleave have examined and proved it right.
Benjamin Grazebrook to ask Mr Dadford to procure four hogsheads of Barrow lime and send up the first trows.
B. Grazebrook to write to Richard Owen Cambridge to inform him the millard at his mill makes a charge upon every vessel that passes up his millpond, of which we understand, he is unaware.
Mr Martin’s banks be immediately covered with soil from Mr Cambridge’s Millpond.
George Beswick to take the earth out of the bottom of the canal in Mr Cook’s land in order to make good the banks.
Edward Keene to be charged 10s 6d for the use of the company barge going to Newnham for timber.

M^r Kings Account of Damages Deffer'd till we have an interview with him.
Nothing yet Settled ~~ relative to the Church Yard at Stonehouse.
Ordered that our Waggon be sent to Glocester, for the two Hogsheads of Lime, and if the Lime should be sent off before the Waggon arrives, then to Lad back with Coals for M^r Baylis.
Settled with M^r Power for his Stable, and paid him for the same.
Agreed with John Gleaves to make a Drain across the Turnpike Road near Eastington, in order to Convey the water from the Stonehouse Levell to Chippenhams Platt, for the Sum of three pounds, exclusive of laying the Bricks in said Drain.
Order that John Gleaves do give direction to the Cutters, to Cutt out the reaching thro' M^r Reddalls Land, in order to Convey the water from the Ryeford to the Stonehouse Levell.
No Account from M^r Bigland about the Seeds.
Nothing settled relative to M^r Chances Land.
Nothing done in regard to M^r Webbs Land.
Ordered that Edward Keene do make preparations for the Swivelll Bridge at M^r Hallidays.
Agreed with the Brickmaker for making Bricks on the same terms as last Season viz: Twelve Shillings per Thousand for good sound Bricks, and that none be approved but such as are perfectly so ~~ and Article to be executed for that purpose.

The Quoins at the Court Orchard Lock to be taken up, fresh Jointed and Sett with Barrow Lime, or Sands, as directed by M^r Frewin ~~ also the remaining Coping at the Framiload Lock to be Sett and finished with Aberthaw Lime.
That no Levell be settled in any part, until M^r B: Grazebrook and John Gleave have examined and proved it to be right.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook be desired to apply for a large Quantity of Aberthaw Limestone, and also that he do write to M^r Dadford to procure four Hogsheads of Barrow Lime, and sent per the first Trow.
M^r Grazebrook to write to Richard Owen Cambridge Esq^r to inform him, the Millard at his Mill makes a Charge upon every Vessell that passes up his Mill pond, which we apprehend cannot be with his countenance.
Ordered that M^r Martins Banks be imediately covered with Soil from M^r Cambridges Mill Pond.
Ordered that the Culvert in M^r Cooks Meadow be imediately turn'd in order that the Banks may be finished.
Ordered that our Clerk do give directions to Geo: Beswick to take the earth our of the bottom of the Canal in M^r Cooks Land, in order to make good the banks.
Ordered that M^r Boughs Acc^t be settled as soon as possible.
