At a Meeting of the Committee held this 9^th Day of April 1778 at the George Inn in the Town of Stroud
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas Baylis, John Hollings, John Allaway, Richard Bigland, Benjamin Grazebrook, Freame Arundell.
Read the Minutes of the Last Meeting.
M^r Kings Account of Damages deffer'd till we have an Opportunity of Seeing him.
Nothing yet Settled ~~ relative to the Church Yard at Stonehouse.
M^r Bigland has procured the Seeds, Ordered that he be desired to send them to Stonehouse, And that our Clerk to apply to some person to Sow them as soon as possible.
Nothing yet Settled relative to M^r Chances Land.
Nothing yet Settled relative to M^r Webbs Land, M^r Colborne being in London.
Ordered that Edward Edge to Attend the next Meeting.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that M^r Freebury may have the Clay dug out of the bank at Wallbridge, on paying the expence it has cost the Digging, and repairing the Damages done to the Road, occasioned by Halling it away.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 16^th Instant at three o Clock in the afternoon at the Golden Cross at Cainscross.
