John Gleave to provide watering place in Court Orchard for Mr Chambers. Mr Bough to maintain rails near his house to prevent Mr Chamber’s cattle from getting out.
John Gleave to inform Mr Phillips that if he continues to draw water through his mill on Sundays that a stank will be immediately fixed in the mill pond.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Tuesday the 9^th day of June 1778

No accout of M^r Kings Damages Yet Received.
Nothing Yett Settled relative to Stonehouse Church Yard.
Received a Rough Draft of M^r Stephens's Conveyance. ~~ Ordered that M^r Colborne be requested to gett it engrossed imediately, and also to make out a fair Copy of the agreement with M^r Stephens, and that the Companys Seal be affixed to the same, ~~ And that Mess^rs Wathen and Winchcombe be desired to wait on M^r Stephens on Wednesday morning the 17^th Instant, in order to have the said Conveyance finally executed.
Edward Keene Reported that he has measured M^r Chances Timber, but the allowance for the defects in it, can not be ascertained till the Timber is cutt,
Ordered that Jn^o Gleave do provide a Watering place in the Court Orchard for M^r Chambers.
Ordered that M^r Bough do take care that the Railes near his House are kept up, in Order to prevent M^r Chambers Cattle from getting out.
Ordered that Jn^o Gleave do inform M^r Philips that if he continues to draw the water thro' his Mill on Sunday, that a Stank will be imediately fix'd in the Mill Pond.
Ordered that B: Pashley do gett the Lock Gates brought up, and to prepare for hanging them as soon as possible.
Ordered that M^r Merrett be apply'd to in order to measure M^rs Balls Land imediately.
Ordered that Edward Keene do attend to next Meeting to execute an agreement for undertaking the Carpenters Work of the two upper Locks.
Ordered that our Clerk do inform M^r Selwin that we are willing to give him Thirty Years purchase for his Tythes according to the Annual Value.
Ordered that our Clerk do write to M^r Jn^o Lowden of Birmingham desiring to know his lowest terms for his constant attendance to supperintend the works.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Four Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that M^r Ellis be paid Twenty Pounds for his Rick of Hay sold to the Company last Year.
Adjourned the Meeting to Thursday the 19^th Instant at three o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
