The cutters are to proceed to cut through Stonehouse churchyard without further delay, £18 7s having been paid to Rev Pettat.
A place is to be made at the end of the culvert at Ryeford for swilling wool.
The bank on Mr James’s land called the Church Lease is to be made of a more easy slope on the side next to the canal.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 13^th day of August 1778

M^r Jn^o Kemmetts Account deffered to a future Day.
Agreed with the Rev^d M^r John Pettat for the part of Stonehouse Church Yard necessary for the Navigation, and paid him the Sum of Eighteen Pounds Seven Shillings for the same, and an Article was executed for that purpose. ~~ Ordered that the Cutters do immediately proceed to finish the Canal thro' the said Church Yard without further Delay.
Ordered that a Bill be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Four Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that a place be immediately made at the end of the Culverts at Ryeford for Swelling Wooll.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do Settle with M^r Rich^d Martin for the Damages occasioned by the Banks and Brick Yard on his Land.
