Land at Whitminster flooded by turning the water when the millpond was cleared.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 12^th day of November 1778

Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk Reported that he had apply'd to M^r Lane; who says he will imediately apply to M^r and M^rs Ball for an Abstract of the Title of their Land.
M^r Lane also says he will apply to M^r Ellis relative to the Title of his Land, and will prepare to finally settle for the same at Christmas next.
Ordered that the Whole Acc^t of Stone and Brick Work (done bye Mess^rs Bough & Edge) be produced as soon as Possible.
George Edwards Acc^t of Brickmaking Produced. Ordered that M^r Grazebrook do inspect the Stacks of Bricks and see what Quantity ought to be reducted as Bad Bricks, before the Acc^t is Settled.
George Maskell's Account produced. Ordered that no more money be paid him on the Brickmaking Account.
M^r King has not given his Account for Stoping the Mill during the Clearing of the Mill Pond. Ordered that he be desired to deliver it in imediately.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do apply to M^r Tho^s Powell to desire he will take a View of the Land at Whitmister lately Flooded by turning the Water when the Mill Pond was Cleared.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Three Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do write to M^r King in order to have a Sight of the Letter wrote to Lord Middleton, as also his Lordships answer.
Adjourned the Meeting to Thursday the 26^th Instant at 4 o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
