Advertisement to be placed in Gloucester Journal for proposals to build a quay at Wallbridge of Ragg stone.
Messrs Wathen, Hollings, Baylis, White, Dallaway and Bigland to take a view of the Navigation at Ryeford before water is turned in.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 7^th day of January 1779
Present: Joseph Wathen, John Hollings, James Winchcombe, Ben^m Grazebrook, Thomas Baylis, John Allaway, Thomas White, Richard Bigland.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Ordered that the whole Account of Stone and Brick work done by Mess^rs Bough & Edge be produced as soon as possible.
No account Yett Rece'd from M^r King for Stopping his Mill.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that an advertisement be inserted in the next Glocester Journal for Proposals to be delivered to our Clerk before the next Meeting for Building a Quay Wall at Walbridge with Ragg Stone, finding Halling and all Materials.
Ordered that Mess^rs Wathen, Hollings, Baylis, White, Allaway and Bigland be desired to go down the Navigation on Tuesday next at Ten o Clock in the Morning, in order to take a View of the same at Ryeford before the Water is turned in.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 21^st Instant at 4 of Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
