At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 18^th day of March 1779
Present: Joseph Wathen, John Allaway, John Hollings, Thomas White, Thomas Baylis, Ben^m Grazebrook, Freame Arundell.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Mess^rs Stephens and Collins have not yet paid the Wharfage of Coals Landed on our Wharfs; Ordered that if the same is not paid by the General Meeting, That M^r Lane be desired to inform them that he has Orders to Sue for it imediately.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Three Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do settle with Farmer Coaly for the Damage done the Land Rented of Edmund Phillips Esq^r.
Agreed with William Franklin to Build the Quay Wall at Walbridge with good Ragg Stone, To find the said Stone & Halling, Aberthaw Lime and Severn Sand for the face of the work, also Workmanship and every kind of material to Compleat the same in a good workmanlike manner, to be measured on the face of the wall for Thirteen Shillings per Perch. ~~ An article to be executed for that purpose. ~~ Ordered that Jn^o Beswick be paid £30 more than d^d per Day 1/6.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 1^st day of April next at Ten o Clock in the Morning at the George Inn in Stroud.
