Mr Grazebrook to find out who removed the gate on Mr James’s land.
Mr Grazebrook has obtained RO Cambridge’s consent to making a new cut on the side of Whitminster Mill Pond.
Edward Keene to find timber and workmanship for four trunks to convey the Old River, near Lockham Bridge, under the canal. Each trunk to be 5ft wide by 4ft high, made of good Elm at least 3½ inches thick.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 27^th day of May 1779

M^r B: Grazebrook Reported that he has waited on M^r Lane relative to Obtaining a Road thro' M^r Ellis's Lawn, but M^r Lane has not yett given any Instructions for that purpose.
The Order Continued relative to the Flood Gates at Ebley.
M^r Webb being from home, his answer could not be Obtained relative to the Taxes.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrook do procure the Persons Name that removed the Gate on M^r James's Land, and produce the same at the next Meeting.
Ordered that the Cross Railes to prevent the tresspasing on the Banks, be putt up with Mortic'd Posts at the ends, and some stakes to strengthen them in the Middle.
Defferr'd the Considertion of M^r Chances Posts and Railes till some of the Committee has taken a Survey of the same.
M^r Grazebrook Reported that he has waited on R. O. Cambridge Esq^r and has Obtained his Consent for making a new Cutt on the side of Whitmister Mill Pont, and have also agreed for the Land necessary for that Purpose together with the Bank at the Rate of £35 per Scre; M^r Cambridge to Reduct Ten feet in Breadth out of the measure, in Consideration of our purchasing the Bank.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Three Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that M^r B: Grazebrok do mark out the Ground for the new Cutt as near as can be convenient to the side of Whitmister Mill Pond, and sett Men to Work at the same as soon as Possible.
Agreed with Ew^d Keene to find Timber and Workmanship for four Trunks, to convey the Old River (near Lockham Bridge) under the Canal, each Trunk to be 5 feet wide, by 4 feet high in the clear, to be made with good Elm Plank not less that 3½ Inches thick at the Rate of Tenpence per foot Supperficial.
Ordered that the remainder of the Banks in M^r James Land be imediately Sow'd
Adjourn'd the Meeting to Thursday the 3^d of June next at 5 o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Sroud.
