Mr Webb did not agree to £7 per annum tax. Benjamin Grazebrook to propose £8.
The gate at Mr James’s was removed to it’s proper place.
Benjamin Grazebrook marked out the land for the cut on the side of Whitminster Mill Pond and instructed workers to start cutting.
The banks on Mr James’s land have been sown.
Benjamin Grazebrook to survey the lock in Nassfield and do the necessary to secure the same.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in the Town of Stroud on Thursday the 3^d of June 1779

Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Reced a Letter from M^r Dudley Baxter informing us that he is neither willing to Exchange, nor Purchase the Bitt of Land adjoining to his Estate at Eastington, but desires to have his Account settled as soon as possible.
No Instructions Yett Rece'd from M^r Lane relative to the Road thro' M^r Ellis's Lawn.
The Order Continues relative to the Flood Gates at Ebley.
M^r B: Grazebrook Reported that he has waited on M^r Webb and Proposed that the Meadows at Walbridge be Rated at £7 per Annum to the Land Tax, which Sum M^r Webb does not Accede to; Ordered that M^r Grazebrook do propose £8 per Annum, and have M^r Webbs final Answer to the same.
The Gate at M^r James's is removed to its proper place.
The Committee have this day taken a Survey of M^r Chances Lands and agreed if M^r Chance will give it in writing to deliver up the Bitt of Land on the lower side of the Lock at anytime when required by the Company, that the Posts and Railes may remain in the form as they now stand, and if not, to be taken up pursuant to a former Order.
M^r Grazebroook has Mark'd out the Land for the Cutt on the side of Whitmister Mill Pond, and have sett Men to Work on the same.
The Banks in M^r James's Land are Sow'd.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that M^r Grazebrook do take a Survey of the Lock in Nass Field, and do the necessary to secure the same.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 10^th Instant at Ten o Clock in the Morning at the George Inn in Stroud.
