At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Tuesday the 26^th Day of July 1779
Present: Joseph Wathen, Fream Arundell, William Knight, Thomas White, John Hollings, Ben^m Grazebrook, James Dallaway, Richard Bigland, Thomas Baylis, John Allaway.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order relative to M^r Chances Posts & Railes.
Ordered that our Clerk do waite on Mess^rs Lane & Jepson tomorrow morning to Consult with them the necessary Steps to be taken previous to the Tryal with M^r Phillips.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on our Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that M^r Wathen be desired to write a Letter of Thanks from the Committee to Ralph Bigland Esq^r for his Genteel Present of Flaggs to the Company.
Ordered that Two pence per Ton be taken for Wharfage of all Coals landed on the Wharf at Dudbridge, and that the same be Collected with the Tonnage.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 5^th Day of Aug^st next at 5 o'clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
