Summary

3 houses to be immediately built with bricks for the security of the locks in the following places viz: one between the first and second lock at Dudbridge, one other at the Double Lock, Ryeford, and one near the lock in Nassfield, each house to have 2 rooms below and 2 above about the same size as the house at Easton Lock.
Mr Keck and Benjamin Grazebrook to measure up the remainder of the stonework done by Messrs Bough and Edge.
The withy trees at the bottom of the meadow next to Mr Knight’s garden to be sold to Mr Knight to be taken down.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 2^d of September 1779
Present: Joseph Wathen, Thomas Baylis, William Knight, James Dallaway, John Hollings, Fream Arundell, Benjamin Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order relative to M^r Chances Posts and Railes.
The Cutters are Repairing the Leaks in the Puddling.
Rece'd a Letter from Mess^rs Land and Jepson informing us that M^r Baxter will waite on them in order to execute a Conveyance of his Land sold to the Company. Ordered that our Clerk do attend to settle and pay the remainder of the Purchase money due for the said Lands, with Interest for the same, also to settle for a Oak Tress of M^r Baxter.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred Pounds.
Ordered that Three Houses be imediately Built with Bricks for the Security of the Locks at the following places Viz: one between the first and second Locks at Dudbridge, one other at the Double Lock, and one near the Lock in Nassfield, each House to have two Rooms below, and two above, about the same size as the House at Easton Lock; And that some of the Committee be desired to attend in order to fix the Spott at each place where the said Houses shall be erected.
Ordered that M^r Keck be desired to attend the first Opportunity with M^r Grazebrook in order to measure the remainder part of the Stone work done by Mess^rs Bough & Edge.
Ordered that the Withy Trees at the bottom of the Meadow next M^r Knights Garden be sold to M^r Knight in order that the same be taken down.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 16th Instant at Five o Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
