Summary

Benjamin Grazebrook reported that he is very apprehensive that the right hand wall below the gate of the Double Lock will ‘sloff down’ if not immediately repaired. Mr Keck to be told to repair it before it falls and obstructs the Navigation.
No vessel to pass the lock at Bristol Road till after Tuesday 20 instant.
Samuel Hooper to do the tiling of Wallbridge warehouse at 3s per sq ft.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 16^th of December 1779
Present: Joseph Wathen, James Dallaway, John Hollings, Thomas White, Thomas Baylis, Richard Bigland, Fream Arundell, Ben^m Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
The Committee have not yet Staked out the Land of M^r Butchers.
Our Clerk Reported that he could not get the particulars of M^r Phillips Land before this day, therefore could not furnish Mess^r Lane & Jepson with the same. Ordered that he do immediately write to Mess^rs Lane & Jepson to give them the particulars of the said Land, in order that a Conveyance of the same may be made to the Company, and the purchase money paid into the Funds.
Ordered that our Clerk do again apply to M^r Ballard for his Account, and that the account be settled before he is employed any more.
M^r B: Grazebrook Reported that he is very apprehensive that the right hand wall below the Gate of the Double Lock will sloff down if not immediately Repaired. Ordered that he do waite on M^R Keck to d the Needfull immediately to prevent it falling down and Obstructing the Navigation.
Ordered that no Vessell be permitted to Pass the Lock at Bristol Road till after Tuesday the 28^th Instant.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Fifty Six Pounds and three pence.
Ordered that Mess^rs Bough & Edge be paid Thrity Pounds on Acc^t.
Agreed with Samuel Hooper to do the Tyling of the Warehouse at Wallbridge, finding Pins, & Poimting the same for 3^s per Square.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 30th Instant at 3 of Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
