Summary

Reported that some Aberthawe Pebbles have been ordered for the next Spring tide.
Agreed that Mr Holliday Phillips is to be paid £55 6s 3d in full for interest to this day and all and every damage he sustained by the Navigation.
Mr Pashley applied for his accounts.
No more clay or gravel to be taken from Dudbridge Wharf.
Bricks at Wallbridge taken to locks needing them.

At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Friday the 5^th of May 1780
Present: James Winchcombe, John Allaway, Joseph Wathen, Thomas Baylis, John Hollings, Ben^m Grazebrook, James Dallaway, Nathaniel Jones, Fream Arundell, Thomas White.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Continued the Order relative to M^r Butchers Lands.
Ordered that our Clerk do apply to Mess^rs Lane & Jepson to proceed against M^r Daniel Ballard for payment of the Sum of £66:13 agreeable to the Resolution of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk Reported that he has engaged some Aberthaw Pebles to be brought up next Spring Tydes.
Continued the Order relative to enclosing the Wharf at Wallbridge.
Our Clerk Reported that he has apply'd to the Occupiers of the Companys Lands, but not finding many of them at home he could no settle with them. Ordered that he do again apply to them for that Purpose, and Report their answers at the next Meeting.
Thomas Pettat Esq^r attended on behalf of M^r Holliday Phillips, when it was Agree'd that M^r Phillips be paid the Sum of £55..6..3 in full for Interest to the Day and all and every Damage he has sustained by the Navigation, on his giving full and proper Discharge for the same. Ordered that our Clerk do immediately apply to Mess^rs Lane & Jepson to prepare the Conveyance and on M^r Phillips executing the same that he be paid the above Sum. And also that the Principal money for the Lands and Stow amounting to the Sum of £224..19 be Paid into the Funds as directed by the Commissioners upon all Parties executing the Conveyance.
Ordered that M^r Pashley be again apply'd to for his whole Acc^t.
Ordered that our Clerk do apply to Jn^o Gleave for the Levell belonging to the Company.
Ordered that no mor Clay nor Gravell be taken from Dudbridge Wharf, except a Boat Load for M^r White.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of Two Hundred and Eighty five Pounds Eleven Shillings and Seven pence.
Ordered that the Bricks at Wallbridge be sorted and taken down to the Locks were the same shall be found wanting.
Ordered that Mess^rs Hollings, Dallaway, Arundell, White, Baylis, Jones & Grazebrook be desired to take a view of M^r Ellises Lawn and settle the mode of Repairing the same.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Thursday the 25^th Instant at 4 o'Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
