Samuel King may have stone lying on his land for 1s per cubic yard.
Thomas Lewis to be allowed 40s per annum for his house rent during his time as lock keeper.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by Adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Tuesday the 9^th of October 1781
Present: Joseph Wahten, Fream Arundell, John Hollings, Nathaniel Jones, Thomas Baylis, Ben^m Grazebrook, James Dallaway.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
M^r Halliday is paid agreeable to the Order of the last Meeting. Ordered that some Stones for Land Marks be fix'd to ascertain the Land bought by the Company of the said M^r Halliday.
M^r King not attending, Ordered do inform him of the next Committee Meeting.
The Drain in Pool Field is made agreeable to the Order of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk Reported that Ben^n Pashley hath not yet had an Opportunity of valuing the Timber of the Old Crane but will do the same this Week.
M^r Sam^l King is paid thirty Shillings agreeable to the Order of last Meeting.
Rece'd a Letter from M^r Sam^l King desiring to know the price of the Stone lying on his Lands. Ordered that he be inform'd that he may have what Quantity of the said Stone he may have occasion for at One Shilling per Cube Yard and not under that price.
Ordered that Thomas Lewis be allowed Forty Shillings per Annum for his House Rent during the time he has or may be employed as Lockkeeper.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 11^th Instant at Ten o'Clock in the Morning at the George Inn in Stroud.
