Messrs White and Grazebrook marked out a bit of land at the double lock for a house and garden.
A bridle way is to be secured through Mr Remington’s orchard, up little Harry’s Orchard and along the towing path to provide access to land to be sold off near Double Lock to James Hogg.
Agreed with Benjamin Grazebrook to cover the boat house with lead for 30 guineas.
At a Meeting of the Committee held by adjournment at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 12^th of December 1782

Our Clerk hath wrote to M^r Peach agreeable to the Order of last Meeting but no answer Rece'd.
The Railes are put up at the Bason at Walbridge & likewise at the Culvert at Lodgemore.
Mess^rs White & Grazebrook Reported that they together with M^r Hayes have marked out a bit of Ground at the Double Lock necessary for the purpose of a House & Garden for the Lock keeper. Agreed to sell the remaining part of said Land to M^r James Hogg at the Rate of £10 per Acre, a Bridle Road to be secured through M^r Remingtons Orchard, up little Harry's Acre and from there along the Towing Path to the said Land. M^r Hogg nor his Successors never to Call upon the Company to Fence off the Towing Path through the said Land. M^r Hogg to pay the whole of the Taxes for all the Land and to be at the expence of the Conveyance.
Reced a Letter from Mess^rs Lane & Jepson informing us that M^r Stock objects to allow the expenses incurred on M^ James's Business. Ordered that our Clerk do waite upon Mess^rs Lane & Jepson with the agreement and inform them that we shall abide be the same.
Agree'd with M^r B: Grazebrook to cover the Boat House with Lead for the Sum of Thirty Guineas, the same to be done immediately.
Ordered that application be made to M^r Thomas White for the purchase of about half an Acre of Land at Stonehouse Cross for the purpose of a Wharf.
Drawn a Bill on the Treasurer for the Sum of Seven hundred & Sixty two Pounds Nine Shillings & Sevenpence for the purpose of the Navigation.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 16^th of January next at five o'Clock in the afternoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
