Clerk saw Mr William Chance of Ebley fishing in canal on 14 May near his house. Declared that he had right to fish. Clerk to request Mr Witcombe, Company's solicitor, to prosecute Mr Chance.
Lock house at Chippenham Platt to be covered with pantile.
Kidman's bridge to be repaired.

At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held on Board the Companys Barge on Tuesday the 8^th of June 1790
Present: Nathaniel Winchcombe, Jn^o Allaway, John Hollings, Benj^n Grazebrook, John Colborne, Joseph Grazebrook, Henry Burgh.
Our Clerk reported that he has given Notice to M^r Bigland to pay £1..10 per Annum for the Island in future, which he consents to do.
M^r Winchcombe reported that he has written to M^r Cambridge who has assured him in answer that he is willing for the Company to appoint a Person to reexamine the Damages of Thatchers with M^r King, not having a Doubt but that the Person so appointed will act with honor & justice.
Resolved that M^r Leversage be requested to meet M^r King to fix the amount of the above mentioned damages.
Ordered that the Stone Lock at Dudbridge be immediately repaired in such matter as is absolutely necessary.
Our Clerk reported that on the 14^th day of last Month he saw M^r W^m Chance of Ebley fishing in the Canal near his own House who declared (on our Clerk forbidding so to do) that he had a right and would exercise that right whenever he thought proper.
Ordered that our Clerk do wait on M^r Witcombe our Sollicitor and desire him to prosecute M^r Chance in such a manner as he thinks proper.
Ordered that the Lock House at Chippenhams Platt be covered in Pan tile.
Ordered that Kidmans Bridge be repaired in such manner as is necessary.
Adjourned this Meeting to Thursday the 19^th of August next at the George Inn in Stroud at ten o Clock in the forenoon.
