At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Monday the 11^th of April 1791
Present: Nathaniel Winchcombe, Benj^n Grazebrook, John Hollings, Joseph Grazebrook, John Allaway.
Report having been made that the Crib against Prides Land at Framiload proves a great Nusance and injurious to Vessells coming in the Stroudwater Navigation, Ordered that our Sollicitors be applied to condite(?) the same.
Ordered that William Beard do make enquiry for good Oak Timber for Swing Poles and purchase some on the best Terms he can.
Ordered that some Brick be got ready for the repairing of Bridges, etc.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 12^th Inst^t at Eleven o'Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
