Workmen to fence wharf at Dudbridge. Delay owing to scarcity of workmen.
At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Monday the 10^th Octo 1791
Present: John Hollings, Joseph Grazebrook, Henry Burgh, Joseph Harford, John Allaway, Edw^d Harford, Will^m Battersby.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Rich^d Croft attended and entered into the Agreement according to the Order of last Meeting.
W^m Beard reported that as many Repairs has been Done as could possibly be attended to.
Application has been made for Workmen to fence the Wharf at Dudbridge but their being so scarce has occasioned its being delay'd for the present.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurer for the Sum of One Hundred eighty seven Pounds eight Shillings & eight pence for the use of the Navigation.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 11^th Ins^t at Eleven o Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
