At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Thursday the 27^th of Feb^y 1794
Present: John Hollings, Benj^n Grazebrook, John Allaway, Will^m Sevill, Rich^d Pettat, Jos^h Grazebrook, Edw^d Wood.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that he has applied to M^r Moseley for chusing a fresh Trustee in consequence he have fixt upon M^r Samuel Holmes of Cainscross.
Ordered that our Clerk do apply to our Sollicitors Mess^rs Whitcombe & Griffith to mane a Conveyance from M^r Moseley to the Company and give them a Draft already prepared by the late M^r Lane for that purpose and upon M^r Moseleys executing the said Conveyance that the Money be immediately paid him. M^r Elliott having applied for leave for Building a Warehouse on Stonehouse Cross Wharf for putting in Goods brought up the Canal, Ordered that leave be given him to build it at the lower end of the said Wharf.
The Land flod water running into the Canal, at the Oils Mill Bridge, being very Injurious, Ordered that three of the Committee be requested to take a View of the same and report it at the next Meeting.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Monday the 7^th of April next at twelve o Clock at the George Inn in Stroud.
