At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Tuesday the 29^t of July 1794
Present: John Allaway, Rev^d W^m Ellis, Sam^l Wathen, Sam^l Smith, Char^s Freebury.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported that the Shoals are begun to be cleaned and will be proceeded on as fast as possible.
Ordered that our Clerk do apply to Tho^s Greening to make a Brick Culvert at Ebley, to dig our the Foundation, and to the same substantially full 2 Feet in Diameter for 5^s or 5^s.6^d per Yard forward, and the backing well filled and punn'd.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Fryday the 19^th of Aug^t next at 12 o Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
