At a Meeting of the Committee of the Stroudwater Navigation held at the George Inn in Stroud on Monday the 13^th of Octo^r 1794
Present: Rev^d W^m Ellis, Jn^o Allaway, Sam^l Wathen, Benj^n Grazebrook, Sam^l Smith, Jos^h Grazebrook.
Read the Minutes of the last Meeting.
Our Clerk reported a part of the Warehouse now building by Tho^s Greening at Framiload has given way, and is in danger of falling. Ordered that the same be immediately taken down and rebuilt in a substantial and Workmanlike manner at the Contractors Expence.
Our Clerk reported that he has given Orders to M^r Powell of Broad Oak for building a Dredge Boat agreeable to the order of the last Meeting.
Continued the order of the last Meeting respecting a second Clerk in room of M^r Baylis.
Ordered a Bill to be drawn on the Treasurers for the Sum of Six Hundred & thirty one Pounds, seventeen Shillings & eight pence for the use of the Navigation.
Adjourn'd this Meeting to Tuesday the 14^th Ins^t at 11 o'Clock in the forenoon at the George Inn in Stroud.
